? Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated ropeway or cable car on Girnar hill in Junagadh district, Gujarat through video conferencing. The cable way is touted as Asia’s longest temple ropeway.

? Prime Minister Shri Narenda Modi will inaugurate three key projects in Gujarat on 24th October, via video conferencing. Prime Minister will launch the ‘Kisan Suryodaya Yojana’ for the farmers of Gujarat. He will inaugurate the Paediatric Heart Hospital attached with U.N Mehta Institute of Cardiology and Research Centre and a Mobile Application for tele-cardiology at the Ahmedabad Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad.

? Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh inaugurated two water supply projects for two villages under Jal Jeevan Mission.

? National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has featured on the top on the list of Indian PSUs under the ‘World’s Best Employer 2020’, published by Forbes.

? The Sports Authority of India has approved the national coaching camp for Table Tennis, which will commence on 28th October till 8th December.

? Chief Minister Amarinder Singh digitally laid the foundation stone of Punjab”s first dedicated sports university and various other development projects in Patiala on the occasion of Dussehra.

? India’s first sand dune parks and interpretation centres are set to be developed in Goa. World Bank has sanctioned around Rs.3 crore under the programme.

? The first transport project under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) was inaugurated in Lahore.

? The Himachal Pradesh government will set up 100 Swachhata Cafes with an estimated cost of Rs 10 crore by 2023 and each cafe will be free from the use of single-use plastic.
